Before Installing Splunk make sure that the following ports are opened
Create a Splunk account and Click on the Free trial which is free for 60 days
Once the account is created successfully then download Splunk Enterprise software and install it on your system ( supports Linux, Windows, and Mac). During the installation, you need to provide a password for the admin.
Once the installation is done your local system then visit localhost:8000 on the browser and it will open the Splunk web and enter the username as admin and the password that you have set during installation
